Early Years Learning Framework Professional Development
The 'Statement on Young Children and Digital Technologies' links key themes and outcomes in the Early Years Learning Framework.
This statement was developed by Early Childhood Australia (Early Childhood Advocacy organisation in Australia) to provide guidance on the role and optimal use of digital technologies in early childhood education.
As young children are continually exposed to digital technologies, the statement supports research conducted earlier that states that ICT capability and ICT literacy can be developed in early childhood learning activities.
